Bereavement Support Group
This Group is looking for new members who are caring, sensitive, willing to listen, support and spend time with a bereaved person. Members of the group will also be expected to: assist in organising liturgical celebrations e.g. Mass of All Souls in November; take part in monthly meetings; shadow a befriender when visiting bereaved; and assist in some of the funeral rites. Members must join the Diocesan Bereavement Befriending Training Programme. If you’d like to know more about this group, please contact Maureen Smith.
