Confirmation and First Communion for Children
Confirmation and First Communion are huge steps within our Parish community and parents should know this is now celebrated for children at primary 4, with preparation beginning at primary 3.
Preparation involves :
• various liturgical ceremonies (normally at Sunday 10 a.m. Mass) for the children and their families
• weekday evening gatherings for parents to help them reflect on their faith and share it with their children.
• Educational preparation for the children, which takes place in our Catholic primary schools. (If any child looking to receive Confirmation or First Communion does not attend a Catholic school, parents should contact one of the clergy.)
